Yes, you can practice the headstand (Sirsasana) in the morning and evening on the same day. However, the optimum time to practice Sirsasana is in the morning, facing east.

Afternoon sessions are recommended as far as possible objects that may be seen during the session, such as lamps, curtains, and pictures. These should not be placed in front of you while practicing Sirsasana.

At night, a sleeping person's body is in a horizontal position, so it is not advisable to practice headstand. However, if you are well trained in this asana, then it is okay to do it at night too. But only a few simple precautions have to be taken then also. For example, you should not look directly at the sun when it is out; instead, look up at a bright star. The reason is that if you look at the sun, you will get a severe headache or even be blinded by its intense light.

In general, avoid doing any difficult asanas at night, because your body is not used to its effects then and might suffer damage due to overexertion.

If you are new to headstand, it is best to start with morning practices as opposed to night ones.
